Today is the perfect day to show your support for Cast and human trafficking survivors. Over the past 22 months of this pandemic, we have provided critical services to more survivors than ever before. Not only that, but survivors have more acute needs now - and Cast graduates who had found stability have asked for our help once more. The economic precarity, health inequities, and racial and gender violence that we have witnessed lately have not only thrown survivors into deeper crisis, but they are what make people vulnerable to trafficking.
Cast has been here, adapting our programs to COVID and doing everything to support survivors’ safety and stability - from emergency call-outs to safe housing, health services, and legal advocacy. In the last year alone, we reached 1,924 survivors and their family members. Our work is essential - and we have a lot more to do.
During this extraordinary time, you can do something extraordinary for survivors by donating to Cast and our work to end human trafficking. Donate today!
Temporary changes to the tax code through the CARES ACT last until December 31st: This allows individuals who do not itemize deductions to deduct $300 of qualified charitable contributions and increasing the charitable deduction up to 100% of adjusted gross income for those who itemize. Cast is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization (ID#10-0008533). Your contribution is tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt.
