During this unprecedented time, survivors of human trafficking continue to experience extreme barriers to safety, shelter, health services, and employment. With the pandemic back on the rise, so is the demand for Cast’s services with a 185% increase in urgent human trafficking cases from the same time last year.
At a time when our communities are in crisis, Cast has been able to place 98% of our survivors in safe housing and nearly 80% of our graduated clients are either employed or attending school. We would not be able to make this impact without you.
With your help, we will continue our successful track record as first responders and make an impact on the frontlines during and after this crisis. Please donate to our Emergency Relief Fund today.
Temporary changes to the tax code through the CARES ACT last until December 31st: This allows individuals who do not itemize deductions to deduct $300 of qualified charitable contributions and increasing the charitable deduction up to 100% of adjusted gross income for those who itemize. Cast is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization (ID#10-0008533). Your contribution is tax-deductible and you will receive a receipt.
