Winter Campaign 2022
Housing is a key that unlocks a survivor’s pathway to healing and safety. Every day, a human trafficking survivor is without a safe home they are at risk of abuse and being trafficked again. Getting a survivor into a safe home involves more than just finding a unit and paying the rent. Survivors need someone to advocate on their behalf with landlords, mental health services, life skills, education and job training, and so much more.
With the homelessness crisis showing no signs of easing, Cast’s Rapid Rehousing Program provides a powerful model with demonstrated success. Since launching in 2020, we’ve had a 95% success record in housing survivors at the greatest risk of homelessness.
Rapid Rehousing gives survivors more than just a roof over their heads, it renews confidence in themselves, real hope for a bright future, and a pathway to get there. Safe, stable housing made all the difference for Cast graduate, Daniela. Read her full story here.
